Many, many alliance executives that we speak to express their frustration at the performance levels of their alliances. They are convinced that the alliance should be performing better but they are not quite sure how.
The issue is a common one that we see often at Alliance Best Practice Ltd. To deal with this situation we have developed a self assessment questionnaire which identifies 25 best practices in commercially successful alliance relationships.
When taking the questionnaire participants can score each best practice as greater than 50/100 – an Enabler of success or less than 50/100 – an inhibitor of success.
They can then access the alliance best practice database to discover what others have done to improve the inhibitors that are holding the alliance back.
